Post subject: Typo in letter to Teacher In England
Post Posted: Tue Jul 25, 2017 8:46 am
I just received an email from BFA that linked to this article:
https://www.buckeyefirearms.org/british-teachers-angry-letter-provides-lesson-anti-gun-mentality

I've tried to find a way to contact Chad D. Baus directly but didn't have any luck.
So that's why I'm posting this.

I REALLY don't think Chad meant to say this in his letter:
Quote:
Scenario 2 Guns don't accidentally go off; uniformed, hyper-opinionated Progressives do.

I'm pretty sure he meant to say "uninformed" although we've seen too many videos of uniformed nuts also.

EDIT: I just realized that the response letter was written by Buckeye Firearms Association Legislative Chair Ken Hanson NOT Chad Baus. My bad!

Well Alan it doesn't help a bit, but I see the typo too. Pretty easy word to misspell.

"I have decided not to vote, speak in public, assemble in groups or petition my government either directly or by writing to the newspapers.

Some ignorant person may become alarmed, and we can't have that.''

There are lots of words that start with "un" that can cause confusion.
I'm reminded of a "joke" that says the way to tell if a person is a plumber or a chemist is to ask them to pronounce "unionized".

Obviously Ken Hanson doesn't read these forum posts.
