Sure, there are lots of things I could do to shorten it. But of all of the forums I participate in, this is the only one that restricts it to 255 characters so I was hoping to have that restriction loosened.

Shooter:

Then there was the time that M1911.ORG got after me because my sig lines took up too much vertical space. I had to re-do it a bit to remove most blank lines. It looks, IMHO, nicer the way it appears here, but "management" over there is very opinionated :D....

Wish I could offer a better solution.

Regards,

Stu

I'd like to point out that the code command doe not work as it should.
It's supposed to shift the display font to fixed width so that formatting is easy to use to make table column line up properly.

OBTW - I miss ProSilver too. A LOT!

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.

I looked to see if somebody had already mentioned this and didn't see any posts. If there are, sorry. I tried.

There used to be a way to mark all posts as read. Usually I click on "View Unread Posts" to see what's changed since the last time I was here. (In this case, the whole damn thing has changed, but that's another story). In the old days you could scan the list of new posts and read what you wanted and then hit "Mark all posts as read" and then you'd be set until your next visit. Can't seem to do that now.

After I am done surfing new posts I click on Board Index, when that opens look at the menu in the middle of the page. You'll find the option you are looking for about half way down the list.

Hey um.. Can we get https enabled over here for the forum? I see the main site now has https and just about everyone is going to https everywhere (it's a good thing)
