Looking for the stainless steel Star PD. Message me?

I wasn't aware they came in SS?
I had a PD for awhile. If you are refering to the Star .45 Compact PD. Mine had the anodized Alloy frame with a blue'd steel slide.

My second handgun I ever owned was a Star PD I loved it ... mine was SS as well. Wish I still had it, it was destroyed by Lancaster Police.

Aaron,

Are you sure it was stainless steel?

I didn't think they were into stainless then. IIRC, it was more likely Starvel coat on the steel slide and polished or brushed aluminum on the frame.

What caused the Lancaster Police to destroy your firearm? Stolen and no proof it was yours?

I was pretty sure it was SS, I could be wrong. Lancaster destroyed it after a CCW arrest in 2001, even though the case was dismissed.
