Jim Irvine, any movement on these?

Remove the requirement to inform LE you are carrying when stopped by LE.
Remove CHL holders from the LE database.

Don, things are at a standstill at the statehouse, here's my understanding of why: As long as Governor Kasich is in the running for the Republican Presidential nomination, he won't be looking at or signing any Ohio legislation. Nor does he want bills currently under review taken to that point in the process. His party holds the majority in both houses of the statehouse so his wishes are being more or less adhered to.

If I had any political clout that would make me want to throw my support to somebody whose name wasn't John Kasich. Delaying these laws that would enhance our firearms rights (and safety) seems pretty selfish in my opinion.

"I have decided not to vote, speak in public, assemble in groups or petition my government either directly or by writing to the newspapers.

Some ignorant person may become alarmed, and we can't have that.''

There are supposed to be hearings on a couple of the House bills this Wednesday, but that can still be a long way from passage and governor signature.
