Yes. We need to stress the urgency on this case. If every member of this forum and everyone that has read the story would donate $10 we would be able to beat Cleveland into submission and also stop any other city from abusing law abiding gun owners before they can even get started. We worked hard to get the laws passed that would allow us to do this. Litigation is the next step.

What are Clevelands laws anyways ?

Post by farslayer » Wed Jul 01, 2009 10:33 am

What exactly ARE the laws in Cleveland regarding firearms ?

I used to work for the City of Cleveland a few years back, and on at least 4 separate occasions I went down to the justice center, to the firearm registration desk to inquire about the laws in Cleveland. On each visits I was unable to obtain any information, at all, about the laws in Cleveland. There was no-one there that would or could answer any of my questions. I've done numerous Internet searches over the years and that has also come up fruitless. .

So how are you supposed to abide by the laws (no matter how bad or unconstitutional they may be ? ) if you are unable to even find out what they are ? They always say Ignorance of the law is no excuse..

I'm glad to see that Buckeye firearms is taking on this issue with Cleveland, do you have the current laws posted on this site anywhere ? or know where I could find them ?

For some reason the server wouldn't post the original link or posted it in "white", I had to re write it and put it in the 'black' color. Believe it or not the link is posted twice, once in the gap but you can't see it. Hold your left mouse button down and sweep the gap in my post the original link highlights.
