I see you have a bushmaster gas piston upper in your pic. How do you like it? I have one, but only about 100 rounds through it. Ill try to get my pics up sometime today.

I actually just jointed the EBR club about a month ago... After this build I think I caught the sickness, need to get another lower now!

Crappy cell pics of my first AR build:
Lower is a Spikes lower
LPK is CMMG
Furniture is MagPul except handguard which is RRA
Upper is RRA complete w/mid length gas and chrome-lined barrel
BUIS is MagPul

The foot in the last pic is a requirement on all long gun pics for another forum where I'm a member (if your foot isn't in it, it isn't real)

Have you got that MBUS to sight in properly? I have a S&W M&P15 with a MBUS on it and it seems like it is too low for the A2 FSP. I've got the front sight post adjusted almost all the way down and its still hitting low.

We all know everytime you post a pic of a shoulder thing that goes up, a kitten dies. :(

I only have one...pretty much stock, except for the grip, which is the way I like it.

RRA 16" midlength upper, CMT(Stag) lower.

I kept the A2 stock...just like it better, also appropriate for butt stroking...I guess that I have a "scout rifle".

Nice thing about ML's is that you can still mount a bayonet!!

...and a middy too, w/ heavy barrel..good choice! 8)

OK, I'm new to the Black Rifle, I think I'm going to have to have one. All these pics. are really peaking my interest.
I don't have a lot of money, I am curious as to what a Good 1st would be. I am thinking a M&P 15-22, but I'm also thinking something chambered in 9mm. Especially considering the possibility of being able to hunt with a rife chambered in a handgun round.
Please dont flame on me too much.

9mm is not a legal hunting round for deer if that is what you were thinking. Coyotes, pigs and varmints but deer are off limits to anything that size and smaller.

I gotta lot to learn. in the past I have only hunted deer with a muzzle loader, Guess I better think about something else.

A common mistake. ALL you need to know about handgun cartridges is right here:
