Just checked out my store. They have gotten in more powder and primmers. No titegroup, 231 or HP 38 which I believe is the same as 231. Sorry.

4570Mulekicker:

I've been doing the powder dance since October 2012. More than 40 years ago, some buddies and I decided to reload, and bought all the goodies necessary to do .38Spl. Single-stage press, and I was casting bullets. I got that worked out, but somebody's wife or mother decided that she didn't want gunpowder in the house. I finally decided to take the plunge.... Can't find the furnace, though. I ended up with a Dillon 650 and buying bullets.

Anyway, I've found that you can use the powder manufacturer's web site info and (carefully!) work up loads with most powders. Some are better than others. I'd rate (from my limited experience) all of the powders the guys have mentioned earlier in the thread as "good enough". The main problem is working up a new load when you have to change powder.

Fur, fin, and whatever just put a new store here (Boardman) with a fair selection, but I didn't see any 231 there. Some half-pound containers of popular numbers, though. Strange....

Welcome Aboard, too! There's a sticky at http://forums.buckeyefirearms.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10097 that you should have a look at, but it's not mandatory. Grab a coffee first....

Regards,

Stu
