Knife Rights is a new spin on RTKBA, but they are trying to take a similar path as traditional RTKBA lobby groups, but for knife possession and carry. One of the things they are first lobbying for is knife preemption laws. they have already succeeded in AZ, and are moving on to other states. 8)

Definitely worthy cause to join, and doesn't cost much. i signed up at their booth at the NRA convention.

Agreed - a worthy cause lead by a worthy Man (Doug Ritter - one of the leading wilderness survival advocates & experts in the US)

Knife laws are a patchwork of the arcane through out the US. - worse than than gun laws in some cases.

yeah, it's kinda screwy here, ..and we have the "patchwork" of ordinances (who knows how many laws we unknowingly break just traveling around the state... ), so premption would make life easier.

Totally.. ARM's is more then just guns.

I had toyed with carrying a 4in fix blade more then once but a lot of states have restrictions (ohio being no exception)

I belive it's ok if it's primarily carried (AS A TOOL) which is ambiguous imo.
