Welcome aboard!

There's a sticky referenced in the "Forum Rules" masthead at the top of this page. Worth a look, but not mandatory. Might teach you who the little dog in my avatar is, or why I was deported from Columbus in 1948...

(Or maybe 1947 - dad graduated from OSU's dental school. I was too young to ask :D....)

Regards,

Stu

Hello,
I'm from Central Ohio. Found the forum through a search looking for some info on CCW for a friend. I'm a graphic designer and web developer. Fully support the 2nd Amendment and looking to learn from other 2A supporters.

Welcome aboard!

I see Joel beat me to it - I'm the semi-official greeter here. I might have to try to get Joel promoted :D....

Anyway, there's a sticky referenced in the "Forum Rules" masthead at the top of this page that's worth a look, but it's not mandatory. At least you'll find out about the little dog in my avatar :). No need to go past the first couple pages.

Enjoy!

Greetings all,
I am 72 yrs. old, born and raised when America was a different country than it is now.
For the past 47 years our politicians have forgotten that NOBODY "gave" us our liberty and freedoms, WE TOOK THEM at the point of guns and we will defend them the same way.
While politicians seek ways to chip away our rights from any angle they can we must continuously and relentlessly work toward CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY in every conceivable way by not only writing letters to our representatives at all levels of government but getting friends and relatives interested and involved too. The gun grabbers work tirelessly and they are well funded, it is no time to be complacent. Get out and WORK for the politicians who believe in and live their oath to "PRESERVE, PROTECT, AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES." I wish you the best of luck in your every endeavor to achieve our goal toward Constitutional Carry. God Bless

I'm not a great believer in unlicensed carry, but given what we had before 2004 in OH, wouldn't kick it out of bed :D.... (We actually had a variation of "Constitutional Carry" then, but without any substantial legal protection at all.)

You've got me beat by a very few years - I'm 69 - but if you saw me trying to go upstairs in the AM, you'd possibly wonder if I was shaving a few years off.

Enjoy!

Hello all,

Been a member of BFA for about a year, firearms owner for over 15, and hold my CCL. Lifetime NRA member. I'm unfortunately located in the rather unfriendly Cuyahoga county but avoid downtown Cleveland almost completely. Also a cold war military vet.

I'm glad to see this group (and other 2A supporting groups) in Ohio, and glad to help support an important cause. I learned about you from TDI.

And Stu - I've already read the sticky "Forum Rules" so I'm ahead of the game :ewink:
