Alaska Concealed Carry Laws

Post by stevel » Sat Jan 23, 2016 5:58 pm

We are going to Alaska in Feb. to see the Northern Lights. When checking Alaska laws, It says you cannot carry in Denali National Park. We will be on the train with my Glock in our luggage. Legal or not?

I don't have the answer to your question, but, if you check http://www.handgunlaw.us/navigation.htm you will likely get a better idea of the Alaska laws. You can select "Ohio" to see the laws and states that have agreements with Ohio. You also can select "Alaska" (or any other state) to look at specifics for their carry laws. Also, be very aware if you are traveling through Canada. Their possession laws have bitten more than a few.
You can't get something for nothing unless someone, somewhere is getting nothing for something!
