Jim:

I'm no cook, but you did a good job on the pictures and avatar. Please try to keep your pictures (and you're welcome to post anything that the blue-haired little old ladies won't complain about) down to about the size you used for the smoker. (As usual, we don't get religious about stuff like that.)

About cooking.... Quite a few years ago, I was in Columbus for something or other, and my little sister invited us for a cookout. I've got a buddy there, and she agreed to let me invite him and his girlfriend, too. I called him, and gave him the address, and told him that I'd call back a little later with directions.

Couple hours later, I called him back. He said to never mind the directions. Seems that his girlfriend used to be a friend of the guy my sister bought the house from! (Party house if you ever saw one - ice maker built into the kitchen counter, pool, multiple bedrooms with their own baths, etc. She bought the place because she had four kids and needed to keep 'em apart :D.)

So, when my buddy gets there, I told him that "you're going to cook!" His response was "GREAT!" I'd forgotten that was one of his hobbies.... (He's a good cook, too!) Great burgers (yeah, big deal), and he made up some "accessories" that were superb.

(Follow-up joke. My sister's two boys are great cooks, too. No idea where they got it. She's pretty good, too. And my daughter! Although my daughter likes spicy stuff. She's living in El Paso now, and the locals tell her to kick it BACK a notch :D....)

As you can see "on topic" is a bit of a myth here, too.... At least in sections like this one. Put something in the wrong place and somebody will probably move it. I tend to muck that up, too....

Regards,

Stu

Matt:

Rich just had some surgery, and I think the meds are interacting with the under-the-counter stuff he's usually taking in lieu of the stuff that he's supposed to be taking....

We don't try to figure it out. Just buy more Kevlar and dig deeper foxholes....

(I'm expecting he'll do something extremely off-the-wall with that picture, but it could be a test for something even more actionable.)

Regards,

Stu

Is it good or bad to be on your overmedicated list? If it means I can get some of that "under the counter" stuff Stu was talking about, I'm in! The newborn daughter has decided sleep is optional for everyone and after 3 weeks of it I'm in a haze and coffee ain't cutting it any more!

Oh and I talked to your doctor to check your diagnosis and he said:
