Hey y'all

I got a new gun belt in the mail and wanted to show it off. I got it on the daltech force website. It is the stitched bullhide gun belt. The thing is really nice quality and durable. It seems like it will last me a long time...

Not to hijack your thread (much) but Hanks is having a sale on Amish CCW belts right now.
Not as thick as the bull hide belts but I have one that's going to outlast me.

Hanks Amish Belts - CCW Belts

This is one of the reasons I'm on Hanks mailing list.

Obezamatt:

Welcome aboard!

There's a sticky at http://forums.buckeyefirearms.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10097 that you should have a look at, but it's not mandatory. Might be hazardous to your health, too :D....

I'm kind of partial to the original "Wilderness Trainer" belts, but they are kind of expensive. Anything that'll keep the gun in about the same place on your belt, tucked into your body, and more or less incapable of movement during a draw, will do the job.

Barrel-Hoops-R-Us, I guess :D.

The advantage to the web belt (with a plastic insert, but it's not necessary for everybody) is that it won't loosen up (won't "grow") as it ages, like leather will. The downside is that they tend to be easily recognized if you know what you're looking for.

(OTOH, I've been wearing one for about six years, and nobody's noticed, AFAIK.)

Regards,

Stu

If you're looking for something cheaper try the uncle mikes reenforced instructors belt.
I think they top out at about 30 bucks, I've been wearing one for 2 years, optics planet seems to be the cheapest.

Unlike the wilderness belt I doubt the UM buckle is "climb safe" rated.. but I don't see that as much of a problem for me personally :P
