Post subject: Can you ID these magazines?

About once a week we are running a contest to see who can id firearm related items on our Facebook page. Winner gets a prize and lately the prize has been a Apex tshirt.

If you don't do Facebook you can play along here just for the fun of it. So can you ID these three mags?
We need the model of the weapon.
Here is the FB page if you want to play for the prize. https://www.facebook.com/ApexShootingTactics/

Andrew:

The only magazine I recognized is "Field & Stream" :D....

I think you scrambled that link, though.

https://www.facebook.com/ApexShootingTactics/?fref=nf got me close enough for now, until that scrolls off. I really don't know much about magazines that don't fit my 1911, though.

At the former day job we once bought a load of surplus plastic that included M16 stocks and, oddly, M14 and M16 metal magazines, as well as a handful of those little plastic oilers. I had one magazine of each in my desk drawer for years, as well as a couple of the oilers. No idea where that stuff went. We were trying to re-purpose the M16 stocks, but it turned out to be impossible - trying to re-use the plastic as raw materials. They tossed me in about 1995, and I don't remember what I did with the magazines.

Regards,

Stu

Andrew:

The pic IN your post here is fine. The link to the Facebook posting is ill. However, just going to your Facebook address seems to put you close to the referenced materials.

BTW, I see "Apex" and think about the guys making little parts for the S&W M&P and Shield :D.... ("Apex Tactical".)

Not the same as you guys, of course, but I seem to have to look twice.

Stu

Yeah, that is a pain. Maybe if I ask nicely they will change their name to "Unicorn Tactical" or "Hug and Kisses Tactical"

So we have a winner. The bottom right magazine belongs to a Mk217 Mod 0 spotting rifle.
