Hey Guys,
So lets start with what I have then where I was going.
Mossberg 500 w/ 18" barrel and pistol grip. Bought a 28" barrel and wood stock and fore-end. The barrel and stock went on with no problem. The fore-end however seems to be the wrong length.
I removed the fore-end on the gun and took it apart for the action slide assembly. When I went to assemble it to the wood fore-end, it was too long and slides back and forth in the wood fore-end.
Anyone have an explanation and or maybe some help how to make it work?
I attached some pictures ... maybe they will help

Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Col 3:19
“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea. Mark 9:42
