The only reason a UDF wouldn't have the little sticker is because somebody scraped it off...repeatedly, most likely.

On road trips around to rural areas like that, I try to NOT get in a situation where the car needs gas and UDF is the only place around.

That UDF posts, my wife used their restroom facilities while we were driving around the area two weeks ago. I saw the sign and didn't go in with her to also leave a deposit. I remained outside and just kept a watch.

She wanted a soda at the same time but I told her to use the facilities and we would buy a pop down the road at the Speedway. Net loss for UDF..

I don't think that someone from Corporate (where the no guns policy was created) would come out to a UDF way out in Adams County to clean that up, Tim!

Haha! I should just wrap it in a gunbuster sign and box it up and send it to their Cincinnati HQ or their Columbus Zone Office up the street in Lewis Center. Thats my way of telling them their s**tty policy stinks.

I have been out of town. I'll have to take a look and drop a no guns no $ card off when I get back home.

Save your card and the effort of disarming to drop it off. This is an old fight. No one at the high level will listen. There is a special place in Hell for these jerks. I haven't spent a dime in a UDF in four years now, no matter how bad the situation was. Can anyone confirm if their KY locations are posted too? I never get close enough to look.

I went by and did find the sign. Was going to take in the card but every time I was by there it was just too crowded. Would have had to wait in line and not gotten a chance to talk to the attendant. Finally thought like Defcon1. That it was a corporate thing anyway and would do no good. :?

That is great news. Looks like I'll have to swing by again to look for the missing sign.

Be sure to actually look at the sign. Not just that a red lettered 4"x4" sign that is there. They have some new discolsure signs posted about showing ID when buying certain items. It is where the old GB sign was.

Well I went to UDF, looked long and hard and THE SIGN IS GONE. After that I pumped my gas, paid and asked the attendant to give the manager a No gun no $ card that I wrote on saying "thanks, we noticed it is gone"

I will always remember where I was the day I found out Hell has frozen over. I was at a friend's house in Clayton dog-sitting. It also explains why it has been so hot, as all of the excess heat has been vented from Hell up to us.

I saw this last night and decided I would make it a point to investigate my local UDF. I knew exactly where the sign was, and shiver my timbers, it was gone. I went in and got my first chocolate malt in four years.

I'm not sure this will mean instant forgiveness on my part. This is a start, but they have been a particular and stubborn pain in the arse for a long time. They have graduated to "go there if you have to" status from "avoid at all costs".

If they want to win my business back for good I'd like to see free malts until the end of the year for anyone presenting a valid CHL. THAT means I'm sorry.
