Attorney Information:
Our instructor, John Litle, is an attorney in Ohio with many years of experience bringing serious felonies to trial. He is an NRA certified firearms instructor with 15 years in the shooting community. Mr. Litle teaches courses for other attorneys on self-defense law and castle doctrine, and is now available through the Ohio Concealed Carry Institute to teach advanced topics in self-defense law to you.

John Litle is a criminal attorney practicing in Columbus, Ohio. He handles felony criminal cases exclusively, and is lead counsel on over 150 felony cases per year. His trial experience includes an average of 10 criminal trials a year, the majority of which are charged as crimes of violence.

You’ll benefit from his past experience indicting, prosecuting and trying murder, felonious assault, aggravated assault and other violent felonies on one of Ohio’s most active criminal dockets. His experience with the investigators who prepare those cases provides you with a valuable perspective on handling a deadly force encounter and its immediate aftermath.

Mr. Litle is also an active firearms enthusiast in the central Ohio area. He is a member of the Richwood Gun and Game Club, and a former member of the Big Darby Creek Shooting Range. Mr. Litle has volunteered with the Buckeye Firearms Association, and is an NRA Certified Instructor in Basic Pistol, Home Firearm Safety, and Personal Protection Inside the Home. He consistently trains in firearms use, completing numerous advanced firearms courses by instructors such as Magpul Dynamics and RSKTKR Consulting. In the field of law, he has instructed for the Ohio Municipal Attorney’s Association on Ohio Concealed Handgun Law, taught several courses for the Columbus Bar Association on self-defense, castle doctrine and the law, and has been an invited speaker on castle doctrine and self-defense law at The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law.

Disclaimer: This course does not create an attorney-client relationship between the instructor and any student. The course consists of instruction in the law, but does not constitute legal advice of the character that would create such a relationship.
