Andrew, that is an opportunity so many shooters never get to experience.

Would it be possible to post pictures or better yet a short video of your mover system in action? Like sizzle and aroma at a steakhouse, I believe some visual would really help sell the product here.

Brian, Great idea! I will get on it. Mean while, if anyone is curious we own a In Motion system.

The company's videos are great! Track driven system like that is so much better than rope/wire/cable.

I posted the following on another local Forum - might as well do it here, too. :)

---

I signed up for this class at the end of April - the first opportunity I got to do so, and I was afraid that it was gonna sell-out by then!

I can't remember which big-name in the industry either said/wrote it, but I distinctly remember his advice: any time you get the opportunity to train with movers, do so.

I'm really looking forward to this. I've wanted to get out to Andrew's classes since he hung his own shingle a while back, so when this opportunity came up, I really wanted to make it work. I was familiar with his teaching style from the few minutes we spent together at Cerino's classes a couple of winters ago, and he's gotten some great feedback from his students since, I have no doubt it's going to be a great day.

I'm looking forward to failing (a lot) and learning a lot. I've had very, very, very little experience with movers - maybe 10 minutes, total: a couple of pistol mags' worth at close range, on slow-moving targets with cover clothing. It was a unique and very worthwhile learning experience, but I honestly don't know about my marksmanship where it comes to movers, and I've definitely never engaged any moving targets with a long-gun before.

Super looking forward to this class! :)

Moving targets are rarely encountered in the various action shooting games, Allen. Mostly those are held at private gun clubs that don't want their "casual" members having unsupervised access, too much risk of breakage or outright theft, sad to say. The storage/security issues often dissuade clubs from the investment.

So mostly the really good equipment like this is limited to secured training facilities. Kind of points to the old adage "That's why we can't have nice things."

Darned shame when you think about it.

Ah....

Thanks for the perspective. :) I did not know that.

Made a big mistake and posted the wrong date for this class. The correct date is June 27
