Post subject: Looking for Advanced Pistol Training

I have been doing a lot of looking for advanced pistol training. I have my ccw and I am a decent shot. There are a lot of things I would like to work on and I think a training would be fun and helpful. I want to find a place that also offers other classes like defensive shotgun and a carbine class. I have found a few different ones throughout the state but I am not sure who to go with. I figured I would see if there are some places you all might suggest. A few that I have looked at are TDI and Peak Impact, but I want someone with first hand experience to give me their thoughts. So any help is much appreciated.

Thank You!

Welcome Aboard!

I can't help you with your request, but I know that there are guys and gals here who are in the business, or can talk about some of the trainers out there. (Or can be trainers :) .)

Meantime, there's a sticky at http://forums.buckeyefirearms.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10097 that you should have a look at, but it's not mandatory, and could be hazardous to your health. Don't go past the first few pages, though, unless you're into masochism. I forgot to lock the thing....

Enjoy!

TDI is the real deal. Make sure to book your class well in advance, as soon as their yearly schedule is
announced.

As Brian said, anything you take at TDI will exceed your expectations but you have to book early. Another interim path is any of the Buckeye events listed here
https://www.BuckeyeFirearms.org/events

These are a great way to get excellent training from great instructors all while helping to support gun rights here in Ohio
