Flight 800--tinfoil hatters get to say 'I told you so'

Surprised none of the regulars to this board section have brought this up already.
"I have decided not to vote, speak in public, assemble in groups or petition my government either directly or by writing to the newspapers.

Some ignorant person may become alarmed, and we can't have that.''

Care to provide a link to a story?

Pretty interesting that a lot of the "tinfoil hatters" have been right as of late. Care to keep up the fall through the rabbit hole?

If you read the articel, it's getting 'another look,' doesn't mean ANY theory is right, until it's proved fact by the evidence.

Viking, the first place I saw this story was the Fox News site, but I wasn't smart enough to provide a working link to it. Their slant was...more conspiracy flavored.

And by the way while I don't keep a tinfoil hat handy, I know where to lay my hands on one in a hurry. In other words, generally speaking, I'm always open to all theories except those with absolutely no facts to back 'em up even one iota's worth..

The news loves a good conspiracy theory. I cannot recall one yet that has ever been proven. Most of them arise out of errant reporting to begin with and continue with the impossibilities of proving a negative. And eyewitness testimony has been contradicted on a regular basis. I have little faith in government these days but there are limits as to that lack of faith. This would be one of those cases that exceed my limits.
