Made by Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works, Fitchburg Mass USA. It was my grandfather's. Dad had it re-blued and gave it to me for Christmas.
The cylinder fits 38 S&W cartridges. So I assumed it's a 38. It's solid and is fully functional double action.
There is no serial number so it was made before 1968, and I am guessing sometime between 1890 and 1930. I am also assuming it cannot fire modern smokeless cartridges.
I will likely not fire it and keep it as an heirloom. Does anybody know anything about these revolvers? Please & thank you.
