Iowa farm boy here, looking ahead for a move to Ohio for one of my kids.
I am a husband, father, conservative, hunter, fisherman, NRA trainer, and competitive shooter. I'm also a life member of the NRA, GOA, SAF, and IFC.

I run a forum for Iowa shooters called IAShooters.org and am active with the Iowa Firearms Coalition as a member of he executive committee.

I joined the forum to find the pro-gun community in the buckeye state to share pro-2A ideas and learn.

I'm an NRA Instructor - Certified Pistol, in northeast Ohio and teach CCW classes through the company I founded: Lake County Concealed Carry Institute LLC. My other career is in the insurance industry as a Compliance Analyst and have held positions in insurance, legal, or, more commonly, a combination thereof for nearly 30 years.

hello everyone my wife and i are both ohio ccw licensed for about a year now. had our class at the county sheriff office.try to get out to shoot as much as possible but been so busy with everything else.been 5 months since been shooting.
thought this would be great place to stay up on ohio gun laws and such.been an avid hunter most my life now in my late 40's.
I'm from the sidney ohio area or west central ohio

also i'm a diehard ruger fan

I'm from just east of C-Bus. I've recently gotten back into handguns after a 30 year absence. Right now I'm semi retired and working part time as 9-1-1 dispatcher. Oh yeah, just got my Ohio CCW too.
