Links for Reloading Supplies/Equipment and Ammo

Feel free to add anything you've had success with here. I could google "reloading supplies" and put a zillion here, but I thought I'd start with the ones I actually use.

http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/Brow...s.aspx?tabid=1 Midway USA, decent prices and pretty good selection

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ Cheaper Than Dirt, good for ammo, targets and a few other things and sells guns now too

    http://www.ableammo.com/ Able Ammo

http://www.gunbroker.com/ Gunbroker, once fired brass and misc. deals sometimes

For surplused reloading supplies, I've had very good results with there two.

http://gibrass.com/ - Jeff Bartlett has always been good to deal with.

Being new to this BFA Forum board, I thought I would just nose around a bit,
    Big mistake!

First off tried reading various forms, had a hard time breaking the texting codes,
still haven't mastered that as yet.
Next trying to play catch-up on all the new models of everything on today's market
place, and then thus informed that almost everything I own is now considered
outdated, out of mind, out of sight, and out of use.
Now I just found out a lot of the companies and products I used have gone
by the way side as well.

I think I need a "Back to the Past" Dr. Brown and his time machine.

    Welcome Aboard!

Thanks for the post - I don't recall ever hearing about them before. 'Course, remembering Breakfast is on my "to do" list these days, too ....

There's a sticky at http://forums.buckeyefirearms.org/vi...hp?f=6&t=10097 that you may want to take a look at - it's not mandatory, and may be sleep inducing, but it might give you some idea of who's here and how this place works. Or at least who the little dog in my avatar is ....

(He just jumped off my lap. I can now type with more than a couple fingers....)

I have used http://www.ammobulldog.com to get once fired brass. They've had it when others I've checked haven't. When they didn't have it listed I gave them a call and they actually had .44 mag. Arrived clean and shiny.

(This is not a reprimand, punishment, etc.)

I thought I had everybody trained about my name. "Stu" is actually the most correct.

"SMM_Associates" was part of my e-mail address back in the day when nobody knew what that was much about anyway, and forget about explaining an underscore. Since I wanted to use my business name ("SMM Associates", and my e-mail clients (and providers) couldn't deal with the space, I had to use a placeholder, like the underscore.

After a bit, when it became clear that the undescore was a non-starter, I just dropped it entirely, leaving "SMMAssociates".

Guess I should change that here, but I might lose access to some magic areas that are only accessible on the second tuesday of the fifth week of a month that has a "Q" in it's name....

(BTW, everybody, any of the mods (I think) and I can change your screen name without changing anything else, or dropping any older posts, in about an instant. We are bound by the rules not to do that unless you ask.)

    (You hope.... )

Again, this is NOT a reprimand or anything like that, and it's easy to mess it up.

Mastercast in Enon Valley PA is a good source for cast lead bullets, as well as many of the other types, too. I got into reloading last October, after thinking about it for more than 40 years. Lots of fun!

We found a local hometown supplier of once fired brass here in AZ called. Check out their website here http://www.diamondkbrass.com/ They sell it right online and usually can get anything you need even if its not in stock.

Ken turned me on to MIssouri Bullet Company as well. I have put all 500 125 Gr LRNFP downrange with great sucess out of my several .357s. Great bullets at a great price.

The only more economical option is to cast your own ... if you can find an inexpensive local supply of lead.

    Ken,

I'm trying out one of your links. I just ordered 500 115 grain LRN bullets for 9mm. Total with shipping was $40.50, not bad. I'll post results once I get them in and some loaded up. Good prices, if it works out I'll get a couple thousand next time. Thanks for sharing!

I posted the above info a few minutes after I placed my order. My box of bullets arrived this morning! That is by far the fastest delivery I have ever seen. Very nice looking bullets too. I measured about 5 randomly out of the box and they were exactly .356

That's where I'm getting all my lead bullets from now on. Thanks, Ken45!!
