orderd a .50 Beowulf upper receiver from alexander arms the 1st of july ..im banking on a 2 month wait...any guesses ? my reloading dies will be here Monday as far as brass who knows lol

here is to something new ;-)

well I shot it a few times to make sure it cycles okay ! orderd some sights from Midwest industries and I have two engines im going to take out and see what it does to them :wink:

Bad Arse! How's the recoil? I want to build a 458 SOCOM but .50 is not out of the question yet. Being able to use standard mags is probably the biggest thing on my mind leaning me toward the SOCOM.

recoil is not that bad ( 20g slug maybe with the 335g bullet) anything more then the 400 g sierra isn't fun to shoot a lot of.. also anything more then 400 g doesn't feed right from the pmags I used the factory AA mag for the bigger bullets ..458 socom is the next one ( I was going to do .458 but .50 was more of a " wow factor" lol ) once I find the right combo of powder and weight bullet.

my arm took a beating i lit the motor up with 5 rapid shots . engine started smoking a bit . im going to go rest my shoulder and lay of the RL 7 powder ha ha
