Reloading club

Post by d80buckeye » Tue Jan 08, 2013 7:25 pm

I was wondering if anyone had heard of a group that meets near OSU's campus to discuss reloading. The grapevine I am attached to said there's a meeting on the 22nd... Does anyone happeto have any more information on this group? Thanks

I wonder if OSU's "management" would freak if you brought samples?

I had to take my wife's girlfriend to the ER the other day, and had to leave my 1911 in the car. Forgot to toss the magazine into the case, and the kids at the metal detector made me walk back. COLD....

(I think I caught something there - some kind of plague.... :()

(Didn't want to argue, but the magazine should have been OK.)

I always found chess about as sleep inducing as my welcome sticky, but some people like it, and until the Feds find a way to outlaw it.... :D

Regards,
Stu

Rich *facepalm*

Setting chess pieces up on the target range and shooting them is not "playing chess".

oh just a quick question- does nobody talk about reloading club?

p.s. I actually own a reloading club. It never runs out until I do.

Apparently the first & second rule of Realoding Club is that you do NOT talk about Reloading Club. Third rule is if this is your first time at Reloading Club you have to reload...

Reloading Club? There is no "Reloading Club," but you might meet some like minded people if you happen to be in the El Jalepeno Mexican Grill on Tuesday, 22 Jan 2013. The restaurant is located just north west of the intersection of Ackerman Rd and Olentangy River Rd. The physical address is 2835 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH.

Start time is around 1800 to 1830 and will go on until they kick us out around 2200.

If you have brass or bullets to swap or sell (stuff you have too much of or don't currently reload) bring it.
All levels of experience are welcome. We all started somewhere. If you are dealing with a specific issue, bring a sample to share.

We are permitted to carry legally at this establishment. It's close to an Applebee's where we are not welcome.

How many folks usually show up to this and what topics are typically discussed (other than politics and firearms)?

There are four or five "regulars" and usually five or more floaters. We like to talk about handloading metallic cartridges and swap components. Expect a lot of talk about politics at the upcoming meeting...
