I was kinda surprised with the article, Not that I personally want a shockwave.. But I figured they was legal.. especially if any local dealer is selling them.

Has anyone asked the AG outright for their opinion on it?

Now, an M1921 Thompson smg, Cutts compensator and vertical foregrip? Yee- Haw!

Ya know Im in the middle of building a few AR15's, my First..
I decided I'd build them out in pistol configuration first so I could legally convert back and forth between rifle/pistol.

At first I thought the idea of a AR15 pistol was stupid a hoop to jump thru to maintain flexibility. But as time has gone on the idea has grown on me and Im actually looking forward to leaving at least one of the builds in pistol config.

Although I will admit due to the buffer tube, I'd rather have a kel-tec plr16 or a mini draco (or similar)

AR15 pistols just look stupid with that tube stick out the a** of it.

It's my understanding, the AG won't answer questions of a legal nature and refer you to an attorney.

Anyone can feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong.

Prior to the latest ATF ruling, some would have said that you are in "constructive possession" of an

unlicensed SBR. How times change. :D

I'm with you on that.

If you want a SBR, just pay for the tax stamp.

Absolutely correct, Six Shooter. They'll reply to prosecutors, law directors, and some other municipal, township, and county admins/elected officials.

I get that they can't be "free lawyers" for the entire population of Ohio, but there times a LOT of us have the same question, you know?

Ohio needs just to add an amendment to the State ROC code to make this legal under the State of Ohio Laws as Goofy as the Ohio Law is the way it is written in regards to this firearm. Come on Ohio get with the Program. Just as the State of Tx and other states have done to make this a legal firearm in their State law....
