still haven't made my final decision, so this may help solidify things.

Hedgelj:

Only one caveat....

Para's got more models than Victoria's Secrets, and the names often aren't all that descriptive or consistent. Whoever put that table together left out the model numbers, like PX745EM, which are almost traceable :D....

(A PX745EM is a blue painted Colt Series 80 clone with Para's Power Extractor and a ramped barrel. Other than very non-Colt sights, it's pretty standard. However, at one time they had a half-dozen guns that are basically the same thing, with different furniture - often just bright plated rather than black, or blue; different grips, etc. Stainless guns, too, that were otherwise identical.)

farslayer:

IMHO, in the "not quite small enough to lose it in your pocket lint" category, IMHO, the S&W "Shield" in 9mm or .40 may be the best buy out there. Pretty much the same size as the M&P "Compacts", but single stack, and correspondingly thinner. In .380, stay off the P3AT :D....

Regards,
Stu

The link for those .pdfs are on the left column.

Dr. St. John's obituary and dedication appears in the top center field.

peeker:

Thanks for the post....

I'm sort of the official greeter around here, so here's the boilerplate: There's a sticky at viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10097 that you should have a look at, but it's not mandatory. Might be sleep inducing, or worse.... But it may give you an idea of who's here, and how this board works. Or at least who the little dog in my avatar is.

(You only have to read the first couple pages....)

Enjoy!
