Lee Safety Primer Feed

Post by Ted D » Wed Jan 30, 2013 6:09 am

Does anybody have problems with it? It takes 2 or three times to get mine to work it doesn't set a primer in the arm.Than when it does it falls out of the bracket also primers will fall on the floor can I reuse those primers after I handel them?I'm going to order the hand held one. :?

Yes, get the handlheld one. They work really well. When I was using my Lee single stage I never used the priming system on the press.

As far as dropping primers and then using them, I don't. If I drop one on the bench when I'm loading my primer tray I will pick it up and use it but I just consider the ones that hit the floor gone and they get swept up when I'm done. I've probably "lost" a dozen primers using and setting up the new progressive press but I think I got it figured out now.
